Dog-friendly Beehive Boston Event
This Saturday, August 15th, The Beehive in Boston is throwing a K9 cocktail party to raise money for the Animal Rescue League of Boston. What better way to help out animals than throwing back a couple of drinks with you pup? And in case you didn't already know, The Beehive is one of Boston's best restaurants. (Boston, MA) –Those big doggie eyes gazing up at you longingly, that cute little paw brushes your hand to grab your attention, as man’s best friend looks up at you and says in one quick yelp, “Dude I need a drink!” - But where to go….where to go? Sure, everyone and their sister with an outdoor patio has a dog brunch…but, only one place in Boston, The Beehive, is offering your furry friend their very own afternoon of cocktails featuring the likes of:
The Beeftini – The Beehive’s special blend of slow, simmered beef broth. ($1)
The Veggie Mary - A mouth watering stew of local farm fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, and celery. ($1)
The Tail Wagger – good ol’ down home smoky chicken broth ($1)
With 100% of doggie cocktail proceeds going from to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, this is the perfect afternoon to turn your dog into a lush!
“K-9 and Cocktails” will be held at The Beehive, located at 541 Tremont Street in Boston’s South End on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Reservations are recommended by calling 617-423-0069.

And don’t worry! These doggie cocktails contain no alcohol! Your pooch will be indulging in The Beehive’s finest cocktail recipes, made just for your pup. What more could a dog bark for?!
